Kashmir has a rich Sikh heritage, with several gurdwaras established during the Sikh rule in the 19th century. However, many of these sites have faced challenges over time, including damage from natural disasters and lack of maintenance. Efforts are ongoing to preserve and restore these historical sites, reflecting the enduring legacy of the Sikh community in the region.
During the visit of Kashmir Khoj Vichar team had found a gurudwara which has a 200 old paintings. These paintings are related to Sikhism and also have some marvel work on walls. These walls has birds designed and many other design which really very attractive.
ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ। 19ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਥੇ ਕਈ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨ ਸਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਪਹਚਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਅਹੰਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੁਝ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਆਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੂਚਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਾਲਤ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ-ਪੁਰਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਇਸ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨशील ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਯਤਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅਤੀਤ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਲਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਰੱਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
